The founders previously launched another successful innovation, Zerorez Franchising Systems, Inc., a revolutionary cleaning technology company headquartered in Utah. Zerorez expanded into a national and international brand before being acquired by a private equity firm in 2022.

During the last decade, while Zero Bugs technology was being perfected, awareness has grown about the toxic dangers of conventional pest control products. The only alternative was the use of essential oils, which offer only temporary relief, are costly to apply throughout a home, and can create new risks for pets and people.
